Please contact your child's teacher with questions about curriculum, content, or programs used in class. John Houchins, our Technology Support Technician, is available to help with Chromebook issues such as a failure to charge, a broken screen, or malfunction.

Please contact our principal, Kenneth Vaughan, or the School  Counseling Department if you are unable to secure high speed internet access through the VBCPS Internet Access link.

If you would like to have your child tested for gifted identification and/or possible placement at Old Donation School you can access the application to begin this process through the Gifted Application Management System.  Login using your child's identification (lunch) number and his/her network password. This application must be submitted before 5:00 PM on January 11, 2021. Please email Laura Purvis, our Gifted Resource Teacher, with any questions.

Helpful Ways to Know How Your Students is Doing in School
  • Access your Parent VUE Parent Portal to access grades and attendance.
  • Use the Securly Parent Portal to obtain student online activity reports.
  • View your student's Schoology Course from the parent point of view. Access this by logging into ParentVUE and looking for the Schoology link on the left hand navigation.
  • Subscribe to MySchool Mail to receive helpful information about your child's school, educational programs, and events.
Chromebook Expectations
  • Bring charged Chromebook every day to every class.
  • Charge Chromebook every night.
  • Bring earbuds to every class.
  • Use your Chromebook for educational purposes only.
Caring for Your Chromebook
  • Do not place the CB inside a book bag.
  • Use the case provided to transport the CB.
  • Keep away from food and drink. No cafe' use of the CB.
  • Do not close objects (earbuds, pens, planner) inside the CB.
  • Report all issues to the TST immediately.
