Virginia Beach City Public Schools (VBCPS) will host the Back-to-School Care Fair at the Virginia Beach Convention Center on Aug. 15 to help families take advantage of valuable resources in the division and community.

Welcome Eagles!
During their time here, our students will work alongside caring and capable teachers, staff and administrators while tackling a rigorous instructional program. We set high expectations for our Eagles, and we see them excel through their academics, their leadership and in their service to others.
Independence Middle offers many exciting academic and extracurricular opportunities for our students. We encourage students and families to take advantage of all the programs and events at Independence in order to make the most of the middle school experience.
